MAN UTD OFFER DUO IN SWAP DEAL TO BEAT BAYERN, ARSENAL TO £100M PUNCH

Manchester United are reportedly willing to include two players in a deal to bring Declan Rice to Old Trafford from West Ham.

Interest in Rice is rife with the Europa League Conference final against Fiorentina next week set to be his last game for the Hammers ahead of a summer move.

Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer and the Bundesliga side are said to be preparing a £95m offer for the 24-year-old.

But Mikel Arteta has made the England international his top transfer target at Arsenal, with reports suggesting Rice prefers a move to the Gunners as he wants to remain in the Premier League, and London if possible.

That gives Arsenal an advantage over Manchester United, who are also very keen on the £100m midfielder.

It’s claimed Arsenal are readying a £90m opening offer, which they’ll put on the table after Rice’s last game.

United, with potential new owners still waiting on the Glazers to name a preferred bidder as the process rumbles on, are currently working with a limited transfer budget, and are looking to offer players in exchange for Rice to reduce the cash outlay, according to the Daily Mail.

West Ham boss David Moyes is said to be a big admirer of Scott McTominay, who United would be willing to sell along with club captain Harry Maguire.

The centre-back is reportedly ‘in line for a £10million pay-off from Manchester United if he leaves Old Trafford this summer’ with this weekend’s FA Cup final ‘likely to be Maguire’s last game as a United player’.

United legend Rio Ferdinand named Maguire and McTominay among four players he believes should leave the club this summer.

“McTominay hasn’t played much football, not as much as he would like,” Ferdinand told the Vibe with Five podcast earlier this week.

“If I was him as a young player I would probably start assessing that situation and start having real hard conversations with the club [asking] ‘do you see me as part of it or not?’.

“If I’m that far down the pecking order I would start looking and I don’t think he will have a problem finding a club, he is a very good footballer and he can add a lot of value. Maguire has to look at a new option for himself. Unless he says he’s happy to be the third or fourth choice.

“Elanga maybe [is another], he is not getting a chance. Martial has proved that he can’t stay fit. I think if you got rid of those four, there is  £100million sitting there.

“Elanga isn’t getting the football he deserves. He did well when he came in and still isn’t getting a chance. Big players in front of him but he wants to be playing first team football.”
